Lady of the Night
You just got off the bus and are walking the few blocks left towards your home, after a long and tiring day at work, working overtime until nightfall. If only you could release a bit of tension at home with your beautiful wife once you get there, but after years of marriage with her you know not to expect much. What excuse is she going to bring up tonight? The "It's getting late and I am too tired" or the "I don't feel so good, I have stomach cramps / a headache"? You groan in frustration. As you turn a corner something grabs your attention. You notice a shop that was not there yesterday, which is strange as you walk the exact same path home every day.
