Finally, summer! School was over, and Andy was taking a well-deserved break before starting his job hunt to find something to do with his brand-new degree. Currently he was in the process of tearing down his dorm room, taking down posters, storing clothes in his suitcases, and doing a bit of final cleaning up when he suddenly heard a knock at his door. Going to answer the door, he was surprised to find a woman in a suit with tightly knotted hair holding a clipboard, eyes focused on the paper before her, not even looking up as she asked. You were shopping at the mall, browsing some thrift shop for affordable clothing that was still in good enough shape to last. While looking over a t-shirt, you noticed a customer walk in. Normally you wouldn’t be the kind of guy that minds anyone else’s business, but this man was downright strange, wearing a large, hooded cloak that left his face his shadow. You figured he must either be into cosplay, or very strange, and were about to return to your business when you noticed him raising a hand towards the cashier, an older woman in her fifties, suddenly shifted, becoming a very tall and muscular young man, wearing make-up and a pride flag t-shirt, leaving no doubt to his sexual orientation. But despite having transformed drastically, the newly made gay man did not flinch or panic, assuming his role immediately, and keeping his spot at the register. Contrary to what you would initially believe, Tricksters absolutely despise the first of April. Being fervent pranksters themselves, there are many reasons that they hold such contempt for this day of jokes and foolery. The primary one being the fact that all these amateurs out there make such a poor job of setting up pranks and jokes on their peers. All these half-baked pranks, all these lame punchlines with no rhyme or reason, it really undermines the whole work, the art of the Trickster, these beings that consider themselves as godlike beings, creatures that view all of humanity as simple playthings, subjects for their crazy and twisted pranks. And so, on this cursed day, the Tricksters walk around, on the lookout for would be pranksters, and make sure that their pitiful attempts at a joke backfire in some way, to teach them a lesson in trickery that they will never forget.
