Downgrade at the Gym

You were the textbook definition of handsome. Trimmed beard, neat hair, always sporting a 3-piece suit, you were absolutely dashing. On the sidewalk women all shapes and size would turn their head as you passed by, a stunning stranger. And you loved it, you loved provoking such reactions in strangers. You needed to be the center of the attention, the dark handsome fellow everyone wanted to know more. Tall and fit, you oozed masculinity. This is what charmed your many one-night stands that you would enrapture at classy hotel evenings and such, to bring back to your place for a night of passion, only to discard them once morning came. Yes, most people would think of this as being an easy solution, just a quick escape. But it was far from that. It was a hard decision that will have a lot of impact on your future. But it was the right decision. School was not the place for you, your motivation was close to zero, and already you had started failing classes. It would only take some time before you were either kicked out for failing too much, or you would just kill yourself from the stress and pressure. This was the right thing to do, not to prolong the suffering and waste more time, and move on with your life, and do something within your reach. The biggest sign that this was a good choice was the relief you felt after you met up with the school counselor and informed him of your choice, to not pursue your studies and not even complete the semester. But there was one final thing th
