The Uber Driver
Arnold was an Uber driver in his spare time. Times were hard, and his main job as a graphic designer for an advertisement firm just wasn’t enough anymore, so he supplemented his income by driving people around during his free evenings and weekends. He would prefer not to have to work any more than he should, but honestly, he didn’t hate this type of work. He liked driving his car, and he met tons of interesting people while working, chatting up conversations with them, usually just small talk, but it was still very enjoyable. Today was one such day, he was heading downtown to pick up someone and drive him back to the suburbs.
